I wrote this review because I am a building engineer and I have worked in five star hotels and I know this is not that but the essential needs should always be met in hotel hospitality.ġMaria M. I guess they don’t want people eating in the rooms. The walls are thin and you can here peoples conversation in the next room including (adult noises)Īlso there is no microwave in the entire hotel for a guest to warm up food. 45 mins later and the music is finally turned down. They transferred me to security, security says they didn’t get a noise complaint and says they will check it out now. I called the front desk again and they act like they didn’t know anything about the noise complaint. 25 minutes later the music is still loud. I called the front desk and they said they were going to send security.
Two mornings later someone in the room next door was playing music loud at 8am. I didn’t understand why it was parked right next to guest room windows though. I kept trying to sleep hoping the bus would pull off, but it never did and I eventually had to go down and tell the front desk myself because the phone in my room didn’t work. Same night there was a large bus idling loudly parked outside my window for hours. Roaches are not always a reflection of a hotel because sometimes guest bring them. 3 months ago First night I had to change rooms because I saw two roaches on the ceiling. But if I had to choose between those two experiences, I'd take the Silver Seven any day.ġWind Turbine C. At the end of the day, that's the purpose of a hotel - to have somewhere safe that will provide you with a restful stay. The reason I'm giving this review a 5 star is because I was able to SLEEP SOUNDLY. I didn't see any bugs and it didn't smell stale as can happen sometimes. Not a significant step down from the Stratosphere. I had three horrible nights with the third one being an argument that broke out between the couple next door at 6:40AM.Īfter a few days, I went and stayed at the Silver Seven, again more convenient to that job. But the hotel room itself, as nice as it was, was like having a curtain between me and the room next door. 3 months ago I stayed at the Stratosphere hotel a few nights working on a job.
